Hello. This is Core. An independent music festival based in Glasgow.
We also put on gigs throughout Scotland and the UK.
WHY WE STARTED CORE.

Core. is a celebration of noise - of alternative and underground music of all genres.
We started Core. because we wanted a festival based in Glasgow that would both bring the best heavy bands in the world to us, and we also wanted to showcase the fucking amazing bands and scenes of Scotland to the world.
We are a non-profit, community interest company, run by a bunch of music obsessives - moshers, thrashers, skaters, punks and absolute nerds. We want Core. to be a proud, loud, independent and inclusive festival - a community of artists and audiences to come together and be weird and noisy. Glasgow has a long history of producing and embracing radical music, and Core. is proud to be part of that tradition.
Core. 2026 is our fourth year of the festival - it takes place from 13-15 November in venues in Glasgow City Center - the Art School, Nice N Sleazy, 1990 and Garnethill Multicultural Centre.
